Who We Are

In 2009, my sisters and I started Bowls for Change with the hope we could have fun, be creative, and help change the world. All of our hand painted bowls are sold for $10.00 each. All the profits go towards providing hunger relief and clean water to people all over the world. Then, it is your turn. Place the purchased bowl on your dining room table as a reminder of those who daily go without food and clean water. Drop spare change into the bowl and when it is full, give the money to those in need. Join with us in our effort as we collect change to bring change!

The Lunch Project

This fall, we started painting bowls for a Charlotte-based non-profit, The Lunch Project.  The Lunch Project is raising money to  provide lunches for children in a Tanzanian school.  They are able to feed lunch to around 900 children for just $80.00! We designed a unique bowl just for The Lunch Project and kept busy this fall painting lots of green bowls!!  We hope that these bowls get filled and refilled may times!  Go to their website and read more about them.

We have reached $1000!

$1068.00 given. Wow! Thank you all who supported us by buying bowls at our open house. It was a great success and we introduced the idea to many who had never heard of us. At the end of the day we had sold over 30 bowls. The house was full of people all day long. We will definitely do this again! At the beginning of this project we could not have imagined reaching the 1000 dollar mark. But people have been so supportive and God is so good. Keep praying for us as we continue on.

What fun to spend money!

Tonight, we went shopping and got some great deals!  For just $198.00, we bought food to feed 2 babies for a week, we gave an orphan loving care for a month, we bought honeybees for a farmer, we bought hot meals for a week for someone, we bought 4 broods of baby chicks for families, we bought three weeks of milk for a child, and we bought some food for people in life threatening situations.

Thank you for your support!

Who We Are

We started Bowls for CHANGE with the hope that we could have fun, be creative, and help change the world. We are fulfilling that vision. All bowls and cups are hand painted and empty. We leave the bowls empty so that you can fill them up with your spare change! Bowls are $10.00 each. 100% of the profits made off the bowls go to organizations here in America and all over the world that provide hunger relief and safe drinking water to people in need.  After you buy your cup or bowl, bring it home and set it on your dining room table. Now every time you eat, pray for the people all over the world who do not have food or clean water. Slowly (or quickly) fill your bowl or cup with change. Now you’re probably thinking “Well once I collect the change what do I do with it?” Or “Where do I send it?” Here is a list of organizations to consider…
